PATTON, CLARE HARVARD
God's finger touched him, and he slept. Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Thursday October 18th with family by his side. He was 88 years of age. Clare Patton of Cambray was the loving husband of the late Lorna Jean (Barker), wonderful father of the late Wayne (and wife Joanne), Lorna (and husband Murray Ray), Larry (and partner Patricia), Paul (and wife Colleen). Lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren Scott, Geoff, Cheryl, Kevin, Grant, Stephen, Megan, Christopher, and his 7 great grandchildren Cody, Samuel, Ellie Jean, Connor, Andrew, Trevor and Tori. Loving son of the late John and Lillian Patton. Dear brother of Mervyn Patton (and his wife Doris) and uncle to John Patton (and his wife Betty). A very special Thank You to the staff at Extendicare Lindsay for their strong commitment to Clare and the care he required day to day. Their love and kindness was sincere and real. The Patton family is forever grateful for such compassionate care. Thank You also to the doctors and nursing staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their kind and consistent care during Clare's last few days. Relatives and friends are invited to drop in to Cambray United Church, 444 Cambray Rd, Cambray, ON on Monday October 29th for visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm and committal service commencing at 1:00pm. Private family interment at Eden Cemetery to follow. Please attend the "meet and greet" at Cambray United Church following the funeral service.
