Van Beek, Albert - It is with deep sadness to announce that this wonderful man Albert (Alfie) passed away peacefully Friday, September 23, 2022 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, at the age of 76 with family by his side. Alfie will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered by his wife Gwen (nee Byrom), his son Robert (Sonia) and daughter Heather (Jason). Proud grandpa to Taylor, Haleigh, Carter, Keaton and Cooper. Brother to Harry (Marie), Betty (Dick), Joe (Christine), Jane (Jim), Gail (Joe), John (Joyce), Henry (Betty). Brother in law to Eric (Joanne), Harry (Debbie), Marlene (Wayne), Paula (Rick) and Jim (Pat). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Francis and nurses who cared for Albert in the hospital. Following Alfie's wishes, our family will remember and celebrate his life quietly.
