Cleary, Alice Mary (nee Edmonds) ~ April 11, 1930 – August 13, 2022 ~ Born in Ramsgate, Kent, UK to parents William Blackman and Jessie Rogers. Alice emigrated to Canada with her husband and young son in 1954. Alice was predeceased by her husband Denis, her sisters Ethel and Winifred, and brother Ernie. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her children, Denis (Luba), William (Deborah), Kathleen Snowden (Randy), Anna, and Susan Locke (Tom); her grandchildren Michael, Terri, William, Stacey, Joshua, Alanna, Jessica, Madeline, Danielle and Allison; great-grandchildren Reece, Preston, Charlotte and Maverick; and her long-time best friend MaryAnn Reinders. Alice passed away peacefully at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon. The family would like to thank the staff of Case Manor, Extendicare Lindsay and William Place Lindsay for taking such good care of our Mom over the last few years. Visitation will take place at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay on Friday, August 19th from 10:00am until time of memorial service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Kawartha Lakes or to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
