GREER, Bertha Christina (nee George) – Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the age of 87. Bertha was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Greer (1990). Loving Mom of Ronald (Sharon), Ken (Ann), Cheryl Keeler (Lorne) and Kelly Worsley (the late Bill). Cherished “Grandma Greer” of Jason (Misty), Melissa (Paul); Brian (Ange), Jaclyn (Tim), Olivia (Brad); Billy, Joey (Candace), Desirea; Jennifer (Kevin), Amanda (Adam), Jeffrey (Kyra), and Steven (Kayla), and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dan and predeceased by Stella, Bill, Isabelle, Henry, Mel, Michael, Kay, and David. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Bertha was a dedicated volunteer in the community but spent a lot of her time at the Canadian Blood Services donor clinic’s, the Royal Canadian Legion – Ladies Auxiliary, Caressant Care Nursing Home on Mary, and the Academy Theatre.  Bertha loved going to the seniors’ clubs, socialising, and playing cards. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at Hamilton Place, 19 Hamilton Street, Lindsay in the 'Common Room' on Saturday, October 15th from 1:00 until 4:00pm. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. If desired, a memorial donation to the Canadian Blood Services, or the Lung Association of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
