MATTHEWS, Betty – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved mother to Elizabeth, Susan (Frank), Bruce (Linda), Kathy (Mike), the late Randy, Bonnie (Bill), and Sonya (Warren). Loving G.G. and Nanny to 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. A private family visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Saturday, March 4th from 12:00pm until 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will take place at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa at 3:00pm. If desired, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
