Obituary for Brian Paul Meyer
MEYER, Brian Paul – Passed away peacefully of natural causes at home on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 62. Brian was the cherished son of the late Werner and survived by Elli Meyer. Dear brother of Linda Morrison (Jack), Mike Meyer, Dave Meyer (Marilyn), the late Sandra Armstrong (Larry), Peter MacDonald (Wendy). Loving Uncle of Jaclyn (Joel), Michael, Emmie, Marla, Mats (Delaney), Caleb (Ashleigh), Summer, Kari, Sarah, Larry Jr., Josh, Jessica and Breanna. Great-Uncle of Everly and Oakley. He will be missed by extended family especially many relatives in Germany, and friends.
Brian was a homebody; he enjoyed his time watching TV, his favourites were black and white movies, especially John Wayne. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf’s and Toronto Blue Jay’s fan, he loved spending time at the lake fishing, playing cards such as poker, euchre and cribbage. He adored his pet dog Phoenix and cat Lobo. Brian was kind-hearted and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions in person attendance will be limited to immediate family and is by invitation only. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the spring. If desired, a memorial Mass Card or memorial donations to the Knights of Columbus, St Luke's would be appreciated by the family.
