WEST, (McKay) Catherine - entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Catherine (nee Harrison), in her 82nd year, was the beloved wife of Alfred West and the late Frank McKay (2003). Dearly remembered by Alfred's family; Karen (Mike) Jaatinen of Strathroy, David (Jeanette) West and their children Conner and Gryphon of Toronto and Jane West (Derek Jean) and their children Drew and Miles of Victoria, B.C. Loving sister of Ivor Harrison (Madeline) and their children Sandra, Carol, Pauline, Michael and Maureen of Toronto and predeceased by her sisters Sadie, Margaret, Molly, Betty, Annie and Lilly and by her brother George. Lovingly remembered by her niece Marlene (Roy) Ussher of Mississauga and their children Jennifer (the Netherlands) and Jacqui, Donna (Derek) McIlroy of Northern Ireland and their children Craig and Zoe, Elaine (Larry) Ash and their children Patrick and Sharon, Alan (Cathy) Halliday and their children Todd and Dianne and predeceased by her special cousins Tommy Elliott and his wife Lilly and Rachel Elliott. In keeping with Catherine's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay (705-324-4681) on Tuesday, February 10 from 12:00 noon until time of complete funeral and committal services at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow. Interment later at Eden Cemetery, Cambray. If desired, memorial donations may go to; the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated.
