Ward, Donna Marie (née Thacker) - May 24 1954 - May 28 2022 - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna after a short courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She will be forever loved and missed by her kids; Kary (Scott), Shannon (Jon), Jason (Shannon), her beloved grandchildren Jacob, Michael, Lucas, Payton, Parker, Aiden and TJ, and her great-grandson Joshua. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Donna is survived by her sisters and brothers, Sharon (Gerry), Linda, Sandra (Mike), Lisa, Ronnie, Randy (Betty), Steven and predeceased by her parents James and Vera Thacker, and brother Robert. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Thursday, June 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Friday, June 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Salem Emily Cemetery. If desired, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit or the COPD | Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
