Joynt, Garnet William - In loving memory of Garnet William Joynt who passed away at Case Manor Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon on Friday March 18, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved father of Linda Carter (Grieg) of Eagle River, Bill and his wife Pat of Pickering, and Colleen Lord (Rob) of Sydney, Australia. Loving partner of Noreen Dixon of Bobcaygeon. Dear grandfather of Shannon and Matthew Elliott, Carly and Alannah Joynt, and Maddison and Georgia Lord. Great grandfather of Spencer Myers and Sophia Kennedy. Predeceased by his wife June (née Matthews).

Garnet was a Building Inspector for the Town of Midland from 1971 until his retirement in 1992. A lover of sports, he was a hockey player, a baseball player, a horseshoe thrower, and a master shuffleboarder, winning many shuffleboard tournaments and trophies and was inducted last year into the Hall of Fame at Country Roads RV Park in Yuma, Arizona, his favorite place to be in the winter.

In keeping with Garnets wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held later this year.
