DAVIES, George:

Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, McLaughlin Site, Lindsay on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in his 92nd year. George was a retired police officer from Toronto Police Services after 30 years of service. He then became a professor at Seneca College, teaching policing for another 12 years. Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. George was the beloved husband of Anne Davies of Lindsay. Dear father of Kimberly and her husband Chris, Sandra and her husband Jan. Remembered by his grandchildren. Remembered by his step children Larry Hachey (Barb Greiner), Dina Hachey, Elaine Dament, Sharon Hachey (James Ozols). Remembered by his step grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Glenna French, and brother James Davies. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from ST. MARY’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or a Memorial Mass in his name would be appreciated by the family.
