HICKSON, Gerald “Grant” ~ June 16, 1930 - December 15, 2021~ Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Haliburton on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Joyce (née Varcoe) for 66 years of marriage. Cherished father of Gerald and Lynne (George). Grandfather of Tamara, Jamie, Sabrina (John), Michael and Great Grandfather of Charlee. Grant is survived by his sister-in-law Audrey. Grant was predeceased by his parents Milton and Florence Hickson, and his sister Brenda Isaac. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lindsay Branch 67 on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm (permitting there are no further COVID-19 restrictions implemented). Proof of vaccination is required. An inturnment will take place in the spring at Mount Horeb Cemetery. If desired, a memorial donation to the Mount Horeb Cemetery or the Alzheimer’s Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
