HARFORD/BAKER, Geraldine Clara (née Magill) – Born June 17, 1943 in Janetville, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 79 on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Jerry was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Gwendolin Magill, loving husbands James Harford and Wally Baker, sisters Norma, Grace, Joan, Jackie, Jane, and brother Gerald. She will be greatly missed by her surviving brothers Bill and Ross (Mae), children Steven (Bernadette), Doris (Rick), Randy, Joe, Sherrie, Mike (Delone), her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and four-legged companion Gypsy.

Jerry was born with music in her blood and grew up playing alongside her many friends and family. She had an enormous love for country music which she showed through her song writing, fiddling, and amazing talent on her keyboard. Jerry loved playing alongside her fellow bandmembers in her most current band, Father Time. She always knew how to light up a room and bring life to a party. Jerry enjoyed many trips to Jamborees and back yard parties, especially her family corn roasts. Jerry really did just enjoy life. A special thank you to Charlene, Melissa, Amber, Stephanie, and Dana in the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital, your compassion and kindness will not be forgotten.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, in Lindsay on Thursday, December 15th from 11:00am until 2:00pm, with Words of Remembrance at 12:30pm.  A private interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
