CARERI, Giulio – Followed God's plan and was called Home on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Guilio at the age of 76, was the beloved husband to Georgette for 45 years of marriage. Loving father to John David Careri, Peter Careri and Juliana Wilson (Casey). Step-Grandfather to Brooklyn.  Predeceased by his brothers Antonio, Silvio, and survived by Enzo. 

Born in Italy to parents Rosina and Michael Careri, and later moved to Canada in 1967 where he trained to become an electrician. Guilio enjoyed puttering around the house, doing electrical jobs, drywall, and plumbing work. He was a dedicated parishioner to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, on Monday, February 13th from 6:00 until 8:00pm and on Tuesday, February 14th from 12:30pm until 1:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lindsay at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donation to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
