I am so saddened to hear about Henry's passing. Where do I begin such a great family man who we were close to as children and he was close friends with my parents. We grew up with the Battahs a few doors away. Great memories of the fireworks display we had in the circle that sent us running one year for cover. Henry a great friend to anyone who knew him and would help in anyway he could. Henry missed Jean so much when she passed reunited now. I'm sure Dad will be waiting for you to have that heavenly pool game. RIP Henry and our sincere condolences to the Battah family.😪❤️

Trish and I are deeply saddened to hear of Henry’s passing - We first met him back in 1990 when he was the golf Marshall at the Western Trent golf course in Bolsover, and got to enjoy his company at golf tournaments until 1995, at which point we moved to London. We had the good fortune to cross paths with him a second time, when we returned to the Kinmount area in 2000, where Bernie was a close neighbour, and we spent quality camping time with Dennis and his girls. Our deepest condolences to Henry’s immediate and extended family . He was a wonderful man full of life and conviction, and will always be remembered with fondness.
