JUNKIN, Hugh – in his 76th year, son of Thornton and Helen Junkin, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Loving father of Tim (Alice), and Terry (Meghann) and grandfather of Allison, Tyler, Hunter and Isla Junkin; Alyssa and Justin Teefy; and Christopher and Taylor Quibell. Lovingly remembered by Linda Legacey and her children Leighanne Quibell (Don) and Stephen Legacey. Also fondly remembered by Jane Junkin. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 9:00 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00a.m. To attend the funeral home all guests are required to show proof of full vaccination or provide a negative rapid covid test within 48 hours. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family.
