EVERETT, James William “Jim” - Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Jim at the age of 58, was the beloved husband of Barb (nee MacCourt) for 31 years. Loving Dad of Christopher (Phoebe) and Michael (Challice). Cherished son of Harry and the late Joan Everett and son-in-law of the late Ivan and the late Jean MacCourt. Dear brother of Donna Fairbairn (Shawn) and brother-in-law to Dave MacCourt (Laura) and Doug MacCourt. Jim will be missed by his nephews Matthew and David Fairbairn, and niece Sarah MacCourt, as well as extended family, and friends. Jim was a dedicated cub scout leader, Brownsea Base safety boat "captain" and Gilwellian for many years,  an avid camper and loved his model trains. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, July 15th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm, and on Saturday, July 16th at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay from 1:30pm until time of funeral service at 2:30pm. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
