Gallagher, Seamus - Passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11th the age 76. Beloved husband of Bridget (nee Murphy) for 54 years. Loving father of Barry (Janie), Tracy (Chris Wherry), Maria Gallagher and Seamus (Shaunda). Cherished grandfather of Bradley, Ireland, Sydney, Dannika, Connor, Kaiya, Isla, Avelyn,Enya and great grandfather to Killian.  Dear brother to Mary McAloon, Patricia Murphy, P.J. Gallagher, Colette McMahon and Bernadette Quigley. Brother in law to his extended Murphy family, Uncle to many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Agnes (Nee McAleer), his sister Ann McQuaid and brothers-in-law Noel McQuaid and Packie McAloon. 

Seamus married the love if his life in 1968, shortly after they welcomed their first wee baby boy. Idealistic Seamus moved his wee family from Ireland to Canada. Seamus settled into his new life in Canada but made sure his family knew Ireland was always home.

Seamus will be missed by so many; his quick-witted personality could definitely keep you on your toes. He had a great love for nature and all that is construction. He religiously followed CNN to hear the latest on how Trump wasn't making America great again.

Visitation will take place at Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, September 16th from 9:30am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made through Stoddart Funeral Home.
