Jim taught all 5 of my children. He was the kind of teacher that left a positive impression on all of his students. He was so friendly and engaging and he thought outside of the box, which made him special. He helped me through a trying time in my life and helped me believe in not only myself but the possibility of a happy future. Jim had always loving, kind and supportive things to say about my Granddaughter. I loved seeing Jim riding around town with Mikey, always smiling and upbeat. My family and I will miss Jim and remember him fondly.

So very sad to hear. I had him several times as a french teacher over the years and it was always great to see him around every now and again. He was a fantastic teacher who inspired many students! Sincere condolences to his friends and family. RIP

Mr. Godin was my French teacher before I got French exempt, but he was always so helpful and kind to me even as an adult he was such a nice man, he will be missed

I have a loving and intelligent family...
But, Jimmy was the most intelligent of all of us!!!
He was a people pleaser...
He loved his daughter and son to no end...
I always worried about my little brother...
But, I find out he had lots of friends...
He was a maple leaf fan... Bernice and I loved the Montreal Canadiens...
Growing up in Windsor, he had lots of girl friends...
I would always tell him to bring them home, so l could hit on them!!!!
I love my little brother...
He will always be in my heart ...
No more suffering..
You are with Mom... in a better place !!!
I love you 😘 little brother!!!

Everyone loved him dearly. He made deep connections with people everywhere he went and deposited love, joy and laughter in his wake. I’m proud to be one who loved him.
