McGeough, James “Jim” – It is with heavy hearts that the family of James McGeough announce his passing on Sunday, May 8th, 2022, in his 90th year. Left behind is his dear wife and best friend for over 65 years, Veronica (nee O’Leary). Jim was also the loved and adored Dad to Sharon Moyer (George), Bernie (Sherry), Dave, Shawn (Ginger). Loving and proud Grandpa to Andrew Moyer (Pam), Jessica Deveaux (Brandon), Oli Moyer, Maddie McGeough. A special “brother” to Don and Sharon O’Leary, Florence O’Neill and Suzanne O’Leary. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Agnes McGeough, brothers and sister-in-law Ansel and Nora Woodcock, Paul O’Neill and Paul O’Leary. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Dad was always and will be a huge part of the O’Leary family. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 11:00a.m. until 12:30p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Downeyville at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery. Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the family is requesting that all guests wear a face mask or face covering.  If desired, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation which would be appreciated by the family.
