Joan and I spent many winters in Florida at the same RV Lettuce Lake Park ,, driving from Ontario together , visiting in Lindsey , and Stokes Bay Ont,,, and keeping in touch the last few years via email. She was a wonderful companion and friend, always ready to help, very social, and so positive.Although we have not been able to visit together for many years, I will miss her very much.
I send you my love dear Joan wherever you are,,, Christa

Dear Wendi. Today I read in the paper about your Mom's passing. Our condolences to you. While I was the Activity Director at Country Estates, Joan was my biggest supporter. She attended most of my programs and enjoyed them all - well, most of them. She was never afraid to let me know if something might not be right for the residents. Never missed a Sunday hymn sing with my husband, Bill, and I. She was caring, kind and compassionate to everyone. She will be missed by all her friends and family. My prayer for comfort and peace to you, Gary and your families at this time and in the days to come. God bless! Brenda and Bill Prins

We will miss our dear Great Grandma Joan, or GG as we liked to call her. Her life was well lived and we will cherish our memories forever. We will miss her wonderful laugh, funny stories and mandala drawings. We are honoured to have known her and grateful for all that she brought into our lives. Rest easy GG.
