this makes me so sad, Mr. McDonald was such an amazing person, i use to type up his work for him, he was so wise, intelligent and funny, he had taught me so much and told me so many wonderful stories, and always made me feel like i was just as intelligent as him, even though i would never be, but he believed in me. I was so happy when he got to meet my daughter, he gave her a blessing and told me she was beautiful. I will truly miss this man, and i look forward to seeing you in our next life. Rest In Peace my friend.

We were saddened to hear of Len’s passing. He was a wonderful man who loved family and God above all else. Our mom (Mary Shapter) and Len were first cousins who grew up together in NL. They remained very close until her passing in 2017. Len had a large extended family here in NL and he came to visit us often over the years. We will miss his company, stories and laughter. I want to offer our sincere condolences to his wife Rose and his nephew Bruce and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
