BOWINS, Marion Isabel (nee Short) – Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side, at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the age of 81. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Bowins (2001). Loving Mom of Andy, Greg (Tara), Marney McGill (Mark). Cherished Grandma of Alexandra; Ericka (Jason), Brodie (Laura), Madison (Aaron), Ryley; Ryerson (Grace) and Nash McGill.  Dear sister of Bert Short (Kathleen), Nellie Fredericks (Dave) and predeceased by Pat Jackson. Sister-in-law to Marie Fitch, Lynda Robertson (Glenn) and predeceased by Dianne Keenan (survived by Bill) and brother-in-law Ray Fitch. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In Marion’s pastime she loved gardening, and great glass of white wine. A Celebration of Life will take place at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay on Wednesday, October 5th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 6:00pm. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario, or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
