Curtin, Michael “Gerard” – Entered into rest peacefully with family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Gerard at the age of 83, was the beloved husband of Andrée (née Côté), just celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Loving father of Juliette Marks (Ron), Michael (Heather), Lisa Devan (Steven Carpenter), Marc (Linda) and Ginette Lefler (Steve). Cherished Grandpa of Carsten, Lukas, Austin; Colleen; Joshua (Sarah), Chantelle (Lucas); Jacob, Liam, Patrick; Cavelle, Dean; and predeceased by Serena Marks. Loved Great-Grandpa of Bethany. Dear brother of Clara Brasier, Yvonne Holland (Cal), predeceased by Austin (Marilyn), Rosalie Chahley and Brian (Jane). Predeceased by his parents Clare and Madeline Curtin. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gerard was the Chairman of the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus #1124. Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Saturday, September 10 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Building Fund or the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
