Nesbitt, Robert Thomas Joseph – Entered into rest peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Palliative Care with his sister by his side on Monday, November 22, 2021. Bob at the age of 67, was the dear brother of Janice Benoit (René). Predeceased by his brother John Nesbitt, and family Patricia and Teresa in 1978; mother June (2011) and father James (2020). “Bobby” will be remembered by his children, Amanda and Jeremy Nesbitt, his extended family and friends. Janice would like to thank Carol and Don Trotter for taking exceptional care of Bob and for making their home, his home for so long. Thank you to the palliative care nurses and doctors for being so understanding, compassionate, and for allowing Bob to pass away with dignity. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humour, his dogged determination to go back home, and for his favourite phrase “one more time around the dance floor.” Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Saturday, November 27th from 1:00 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00p.m. Interment will follow at Glenarm Cemetery, Woodville.
