Obituary for Shirley Ann Clark (Clark)

Clark, Shirley - In her 65th year, Shirley peacefully went home to heaven on June 1, 2022 with her sister, Deborah, by her side.  Shirley joins in heaven her mother, Wanda Marie Clark (née Lytle) and her father, Frederick Robert Clark. Shirley was a treasured sister to Tom (Bonnie Jones) of Winchester, Deborah Murray of Kanata, Bob (Georgia Kokkonas) of Calgary and the late Barbara Ann. Shirley was a cherished auntie to Sharon of Ottawa and Katie (Eric Guité) of Kanata. Shirley will be especially missed by best buddy, Ron Murray, and dear friend, Heather Salzman. Shirley was a jubilant soul who loved to be around people, to share in the laughter and celebrate any occasion. Shirley enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, doing her math books, word searches, drinking coffee and shopping! Shirley was a resident of Lindsay for almost 30 years where she remained an active member in the community. Shirley was recognized and will be remembered for her infectious laugh and quick wit of one liners.

Please join us in celebrating a woman who so fiercely loved life at the Stoddart Funeral  Home at 10am on Saturday, June 18th (24 Mill St., Lindsay, Ontario), with service to follow at 11am. Family and friends are invited to a reception in the Hart room at the Days Inn & Suites (134 Angeline St., Lindsay, Ontario), following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital (Ottawa) or the Ross Memorial Hospital (Lindsay).
