Stephen James Callaghan ~ A member of the Kawartha Kavaliers for 54 years, also an accredited Real Estate Appraiser. Entered into rest suddenly, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the age of 65. Loving husband of Ruth (Nee Bariball) for 43 years. Loving father of Amanda and Christopher Mathias and Darcy and Krista Callaghan. Proud and loved grandfather of Benjamin, Katherine and Arlo. Dear brother of Greg and Vera Callaghan, Elaine and Peter Atkins also Murray and Vivian both predeceased. Dear brother-in-law of Ron (Susan), Roger (Colleen), James (Valerie), Gerry (Anjanee), Bruce (Karen), Carol (Michael), Bob, Terry (Susan), Wayne (Penny). Stephen will be remembered by his best friend and brother from another mother Charlie and his wife Amy. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Helen Callaghan and Lloyd and Monica Barriball. Stephen will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Stephen loved to play and watch hockey, baseball and golf. He was always happy spending time with his grandchildren. Due to Covid-19 a celebration will take place at a later time. Following cremation interment of his cremated remains will take place at St. Marys, Cemetery Lindsay. If desired memorial donations to the Kawartha Kavaliers and may be made through Stoddart Funeral Home, Lindsay either mail in a cheque or drop one off.
