Margaret at the age of 102, was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Braeckman (2006). Cherished mother of Diane Donoghue (Jim), Paul Braeckman (Janice) and Cheryl Armstrong (Wayne). Loving grandmother of Scott (Karen), Terry, Lori (Troy), Johnathan (Erin), Nicole (Michael), Danielle (Tyler) and great-grandmother of Andrew, Jack, Joe, Leo, Abigail, Alexander, Julia, Isaac, Wesley, and Sam. Margaret started at the Ross Memorial Hospital in 1964, working in various departments and retired in 1981 from employment in the operating room. Margaret was an accomplished cake decorator in Lindsay, in her late 80’s Margaret walked everywhere, even walking the wheels off her walker. One of Margaret’s greatest attributes was being strongly independent with great sense of humour, loved talking politics and her trips to Florida in the winter, gardening and visiting with her neighborhood friends.

Interment to follow at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Downeyville. If desired, a memorial donation to the ALS Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences to the Braeckman Family,
Your mom and dad were so special. They welcomed my children and me when we first moved to Weldon Crt. directly across from them. Your dad always snowblowed my driveway without fail every winter and both your mom and dad always made your home a special place for Jean and Ian and myself.
I no longer live in the Lindsay area, but try to keep in touch with the community there.
You can be so proud of your parents. What a wonderful legacy of love and memories they have left you.
Mat they rest in peace.
Carole Forsyth.

Dearest Marg
Your passing on Remembrance Day is a fitting farewell to someone who will always be remembered with love.
Our 40 year friendship was filled with many cups of tea and memories of shared political and fashion opinions, followed by much laughter!
Although it saddens me to say goodbye to someone I cherish, it brings peace to know that you have reunited with Ed and are resting in peace together, so I will say farewell until we meet again.
Love

Saddened to learn of your Mother's passing. I thought of her while at the cenotaph on the llth, unaware she was going Home that day. Your memories of her and the full life she lived will carry you through this difficult time.
