I remember dinners at Uncle Wally and Aunt Eileen’s house on Midland Ave. They had a giant black rabbit named Blackie that Uncle Wally threatened was going to be dinner to us kids. I remember many Legion picnics, I remember him dropping off flowers at my house to plant when he had some ‘extra plants’ when he worked at the Parks Dept in Scarborough. I remember what a beautiful garden he had when they lived on Alpaca. Wally always held a special place in my brother Jim’s and my heart. Hope you are enjoying a beer with him. RIP
